I really like the HJMS. Going to school there is a lot of fun. We learn a lot too. Instead of only learning Judaic studies out of books, Rabbi Morel teaches us how all the lessons in the Torah relate to living life in the Jewish culture. In the source based track, Rabbi Amar teaches Jewish living according to the laws of the Torah, mishnah and gemara. The good thing about having two streams is that you can choose HOWto learn Torah. You get to choose to learn it however it appeals to you. If you decide to come to the HJMS, you will have amazing teachers and great friends no matter what. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

I like HJMS because I feel safe and part of one big happy family. The teachers are so kind and helpful. Not only do we learn a lot in all subjects but I really enjoy competing for city championships in different sports with Mr. O. Anyone who joins our school will love it.

What I like most about the HJMS is that everyone is friends and everyone is accepted for who they are. We all practice Judasim differently but we are all Jewish and are proud of it. The HJMS is very welcoming to new people that come to the school too.

I love the interactive learning at the HJMS. My favourite unit was when we learned about the Jewish court system in ancient times and we set up mock trials. In the first case I was the defendant and in the second case I was the victim. I learn really well when I feel like I am a part of the learning.

The reason I love the HJMS is because the kids and teachers are awesome! Also, I love all the special programs that the teachers set up. They are really great! What I love most about HJMS is that it suits everyone. There are two streams. One for those who want to learn more hard core things from the book and one where you deal more with current events and a more cultural perspective of Torah concepts. All I know is I love it and never want to leave.

What I like most about the HJMS is that we are all really good friends and we all love learning new things. I love how we are all still very connected to one another even though we are separated for Judaic studies. We are all the best of friends and have awesome teachers too!

I like the HJMS because we get to learn and do cool things especially in the cultural track (like make slide shows). I think other people should come to our school because it is a great chance to learn Torah and make new friends.
